The MUVE section will recognize outstanding M.S. and Ph.D students who demonstrated successful academic performance, and applied themselves through research, teaching, and service. This award recognizes MUVE student members who have demonstrated excellence in the Medical, Urban and/or Veterinary Entomology. Awardees will receive a plaque and $500 presented at the at the ESA Annual Meeting during the MUVE networking business meeting. In any given year should no nominations be received, the Award will not be presented. The number and diversity of awards may vary based on funding and applications, but we aim to recognize three PhD students and three MS students.
